KACO renames and restarts its web-based PV portal for remote monitoring

KACO New Energy has renovated its website for remote monitoring of solar PV systems. The portal has appeared under the name blueplanet web since last month in a new look. The German PV specialist now offers users a mobile app and a free version for solar power plants with a output of up to 100 kWp as part of the modernisation process.

The monitoring portal of KACO new energy GmbH has been redesigned. It is used by PV system operators to recognize signs of unexpected loss of yield and to react quickly. Customers now have an even task at all times and from anywhere to keep an eye on the performance of their installation. The redesign begins with a renaming. The portal is now called the Blueplanet Web, formerly Powador-web.

Free monitoring of PV systems up to 100 kWp
As before, KACO new energy PV system monitoring is available in both a fully-fledged' pro' and a free' public' version. What's new is that the blueplanet web public is available for solar panels up to 100 kWp free of charge. The company also intends to integrate an alarm function that highlights irregularities automatically.

Complete control with the app
The blueplanet web offers an up-to-date mobile app for iOS and Android, in addition to a modern look that promises improved data digesting. This enables remote monitoring of PV systems from both a desktop computer and a tablet or smartphone on the move at any time. The next step is to download the app free of charge after successful registration on the blueplanet web portal.

Blueplanet web pro is above all convinced of the potential it offers for portfolio management. Installers and maintenance services can bundle all PV systems of their customers at one location. The user interface can be personalized and important data can be arranged according to individual requirements. As well as performance comparisons and reports, alarms are part of the pro version.
